Is Your Desire to Help Causing Misfortune?
A common mistake people make is wishing about a big windfall so they can “do good” for the world. However, in order to “do good”, there must be some misfortune, someone in need of aid. Could your day dreams be bringing about tragedy in another persons life?
Guilt Over Desires
I believe that some people have a degree of guilt over their desires for abundance in the financial area. They dream of getting rich through a windfall, or through success in their profession, they dream of having the nice car, the nice home, etc. yet think they have to temper this with “helping others”. So they start telling others about their intention of striving for financial reward, so they can help others. If it just stayed there it might not be so harmful. However, Laws of Attraction come into play when people start telling God or The Universe in their intention. When they start bringing this guilt into their prayers, visualizations, and meditations and their focus is so willy nilly and random it can cause havoc to everyone around them.
Mother Hen or Father Christmas
Others of this mindset are just plain wired this way for one or another reasons of past history or brain chemistry. Mother Hen types always praying for more people to help and would be Santa’s are dreaming of new people in need to give to. What’s wrong with this? Nothing if the Mother Hen just wants to bake pies to make people happy. Nothing if the would be Santa wants to give gifts to everyone. When these types start praying, visualizing, or even day dreaming about NEEDY people to help they put out a vibration to create needy people and that just is not cool. Don’t be greedy for the needy.
Is Helping Others Wrong?
Helping others is a good thing. Praying for random people to help is not. Visualizing financial windfall to “help others” is not good. Daydreaming about needy people to come into your life so you can help them is wrong. Let me say this again, DO NOT BE GREEDY FOR THE NEEDY!

How to Really Help Others
If you really want to help others then try these better options. Pray for abundance for all. Visualize good things for yourself and your family. If you do come across someone with a need, help them, and forget about it. Do not get a high from helping someone out of a bad situation. That will only create more bad situations and get you addicted to the high of helping. The charity addiction is one tough monkey to get off your back. You have no bragging rights when you help others in need, that is just a part of being human. No bragging rights at all, even to yourself. If you are a person who daydreams about getting a financial windfall, or business success, so that you can start to help people out I suggest you just quit that mental BS and volunteer somewhere where you can help people out right now. Daydreaming about financial windfalls and business success is fine as long as you limit those dreams to making life better for your immediate family and let others have their own dreams.

you have your point there, but i also believe that in order for you to help others more, double time on helping yourself. i mean, for me, in order to help others, make sure that you yourself is ready to help with whatever it causes. that’s just a piece of my mind.
thank you for the article. it’s been appreciated.

I found this rather interesting even though I don’t agree. I don’t get the “high” from helping others and truthfully wish those who do would do a better job of giving them the right direction to their door not mine.
I don’t think I subconsciousy want those in need to knock. I do find myself in situations where it is impossible to turn away a child or an animal although I don’t pray for them to come my way or feel a need to please God by helping.
I pick and chose those I help and those I don’t. I did enjoy this article and different view. Thanks for sharing.
