Poverty

Poverty around the world. How it started and what we have to do to deal with the growing issue. Easy tips to help with no effort.

All over the world countries have their own problems – big and small. Some more than others, but nonetheless it abides pertaining to some countries being at different stages of development. Most of these are African countries; the majority being in the pre-modern era. This inspired us to become the advocates of African ambiance dedicated to bringing prosperity to the African child community by eliminating the number one predicament; poverty. The name advocates of African ambiance, or triple A speaks for itself. Advocates is defined as arguing for a cause, of African, meaning for African countries, and ambiance, which in this case refers to the environment.  It basically means that we fight for Africa to create an environment stable for life. Poverty exists all throughout the world, and persists even in the most developed nations such as Canada. This organization originated from the thought of not eliminating, but reducing poverty in the midst of the worst countries, mostly being in Africa.  Not long ago did poverty appear in Africa; actually it was only during the twentieth century. It started with land shortages, unemployment, and low wages, and grew to political insecurity and instability, climate problems and finally to war and disease along with economic issues and bad governance. Organizations such as ours began to be the main support for families. Initially, you couldn’t blame any one person for poverty and it still remains. Things like land shortages, climate problems, and natural disasters cannot be helped because they are natural. Everywhere in the world there is unemployment, but unlike other countries, Africa is distinct in having political insecurity and corruption, leading to a lack of funds into desires of the people such as reducing poverty.  When a country is corrupted, funds for the people are not accounted for and the proceeds go towards non-specified goals. If money was given towards reducing poverty, the money would be diverted elsewhere. We must encourage manifestos by our words and actions to help this crisis heal faster. Another way would be to address the contributors to child poverty in Africa such as poor governance. If a country has poor governance, whether it is Africa or not, issues such as poverty reduction remain undressed. It is evident through conflict and war that poor governance exists. Another cause of child poverty, which is caused by poor governance, is child soldiers. Another contributor to child poverty is sanitation. With a lack of sanitation, preventable diseases become deadly. When the guardians of children die, the income generated by them also washes away. This will be the easiest way to help reduce poverty because we have the supplies to increase the sanitation there significantly. The last contributor that will be addressed is the climate. With a bad climate and ongoing natural disasters, it is nearly impossible to maintain a sustainable environment to grow crops for income.

Why is it that the only way we seem to think poverty will be wiped out is by building more factories? What about AGRICULTURE? It would seem to me that the priority concern would be to STOP HUNGER FIRST. Education is good, but as long as children are dying of starvation, what good is an education, simply to starve to death?

Our schools provide sufficient food. What good is it if we just give them food to eat? All you do is fill a stomach for a day. If you give them jobs, you let them provide for themselves.

It all goes back to the saying…

Give a homeless man a fish and he is happy for one day.
Teach the same man how to fish and he is happy for the rest of his life.
