Poverty

Poverty around the world. How it started and what we have to do to deal with the growing issue. Easy tips to help with no effort.

MISSION STATEMENT: “To raise awareness and construct schools and factories to eventually reduce poverty to obtain necessities and an environment stable for living.”

Our Mission is realistic. We do not want to eradicate poverty, just reduce it. We want to better the living conditions of those in Africa. If we just donate non-perishable food items, it benefits them in no way other than keeping them alive for a few more days. Our goal is simple, we collect pledges to help kids go to school in Africa and to create non-polluting factories that will generate jobs and stimulate the economy. We also take letters that encourage manifestos, and support a democratic government. We hope to educate not only the children, but the adults about sanitation and how important it is. Our intention is to set up a factory as well as a school in Africa every 6 months. The first journey to Africa will be when it starts to get cold in Canada, so around November. We believe our mission is achievable and the government has given us the incentives to become successful as he will match all donations given.

Our organization has come up with a simple idea adequate for sufficing the funds to support Africa. We have an annual marathon that people can run while taking pledges beforehand that are to be per mile. With all the money raised, the government will use the trade surplus of our Canadian country and double the amount we raised directed at helping the African community by building schools and factories. With the new-founded factories that create a profit while helping Africa, the government of Canada is eligible to keep the money for our country if he shows a signed agreement on what he plans on doing with the money that the majority of Canada must agree on.

Why is it that the only way we seem to think poverty will be wiped out is by building more factories? What about AGRICULTURE? It would seem to me that the priority concern would be to STOP HUNGER FIRST. Education is good, but as long as children are dying of starvation, what good is an education, simply to starve to death?

Our schools provide sufficient food. What good is it if we just give them food to eat? All you do is fill a stomach for a day. If you give them jobs, you let them provide for themselves.

It all goes back to the saying…

Give a homeless man a fish and he is happy for one day.
Teach the same man how to fish and he is happy for the rest of his life.
