The Bucket List Dream Foundation
Description of a non-profit organization.
We’ve all heard about the wonderful Make-A-Wish Foundation® that has incredibly enriched the lives of many, many children with life-threatening diseases through it’s wish-granting work. Thankfully, we now have a similar foundation – The Bucket List Dream Foundation which caters to people who are 55+ and have been diagnosed with a terminal disease. The organization was created by Lennie S. Behe whose mother was diagnosed with primary peritoneal cancer back in 2009. Pondering his mother’s fate, Mr. Behe wanted to do more than just ’sit and wait.’ His mother had talked about going back to her native Korea to see family and friends she hadn’t seen in a very long time. Unfortunately, Mr. Behe didn’t have the financial means to send his mother back which is when he decided he wanted to do more by creating this wonderful organization.
The pure essence of the Bucket List Dream Foundation is fulfilling a wish or granting a dream and making that wish or dream come true. Imagine being able to fulfill a wish for a dear family member or friend. Imagine granting a dream come true to someone who is otherwise not financially able. Granting a dream and delivering a measure of joy and peace is exactly what the Bucket List Foundation does. This alone will touch the hearts and souls of those who are terminal and to those who are affected by this as well.
The Bucket List Foundation relies solely on donations, but there are many other ways we can help the foundation to succeed. Making a monetary donation to those who are less fortunate is the most popular but offering your time would help in so many ways as well. They are actually looking into people donating their own air miles for travel! Another way we can help is to adopt a bucket list dream and give someone the gift of a lifetime! Here’s a link where you can get involved and contribute: http://www.thebucketlistdreamfoundation.org/How_to_Help.html
I urge you to visit their website http://www.thebucketlistdreamfoundation.org and look around and see the miracles in the making. Download an application for a dream request and get started on granting a wish to someone you love. You won’t be disappointed.
Make a wish and grant a dream…it’s the least we can do to those we love.

How wonderful these charity articles are!
Do you still make fun of people who are religious or just Southern Baptists?
