Things you can do if you don’t have time to volunteer but want to help
- Host a collection drive for animals at the humane society
- Donate money to a charity or organization
- Kroger has donations for the local food bank. There’s a card at the register with $1, $2, & $5 donations
- Host a collection drive for food for your local Food Bank
- Host a collection drive of books for your local library
- Donate a toy for Toys for Tots
- Make a shoe box of toys and clothes for a child in need and send to Operation Christmas Child
- Create an Angel Tree at work and put a list of toys, clothes, and other essentials on the tree with a needy child’s name on the list.
- Give to the Salvation Army
- Put an ad in the paper if you have extra time to put up Christmas lights for those who are not able to. Make sure to set a date and time when you will be there and a date and time to come take everything down also.
