When Giving More Leads to Gaining More
We are taught in school that giving two will loose a two, but what we are not taught is that life does not go according to these mathematical equations. Read on to find out how giving more can cause greater gain…
You give more to you friends, so then you feel happy at their happiness, they inturn will give to you and you will find that what you gave has returned to you with the extra feeling and knowledge that you are doing good, as well deepening friendship,
You put more effort in time into your work, so you get more skills, more knowledge and hopefully more money,
You give to the poor person in the street without anything, then you find that someone gives you a gift or you receive some unexpected money,
People will see you giving more and will want to give to you also, so you have begun a circle of giving.
On the other hand,
Lets suppose you do not see the need to help your friends, they do not help you after all. Hurt, they are forced to look after themselves, and gradually regard you as someone who cannot be depended on, weakening the friendship. You feel alone and they also.
You do not see the need or have the desire to work, so everything, your knowledge, skills and money is mediocre and you are not regarded very highly by your work team, by keeping your time you are loosing out.
You withhold money or food from the poor person in the street, then you find your money stolen, or lost, or wasted on something you did not need (it has to go somewhere right?),
In essence, the act of giving, does not decrease from our wealth, or our time, but brings in what we do not expect or suppose to come about. We do not give to get, but give, to make life easier for those around us, who we hope will join the mutual giving and sharing, taking the hardship off the life revolved around mere self and to include others in our warmth.
