15 Quotes by Street Saint
Quotations are succinct, meaningful, and inspiring. A good quote can bring you to tears, call you to action, or bring you enlightenment.
I believe quotation is the poetry of philosophy. So much meaning and value can be drawn from very good quotes. I’ve started a collection of my favorite quotes as well as started writing my own. Below, I have ranked fifteen of my favorite original quotes. I hope you draw some inspiration from them.
15. The most cowardly, powerless, and philanthropic all share the goal of self-destruction.
14. A philosopher is one who studies the world and human nature, one who thinks before doing or saying anything, one who is not afraid to change, and one who lives by what is morally right. Therefore, a true philosopher is never wrong.
13. No person is without flaw, so it is dangerous to trust anyone fully, but it is ridiculous to trust no one. This indeed adds to the list of great complications in humanity.
12. To consider the problems of the world and not be stricken with guilt, depression, and shame is a sure sign of ignorance. However, to live life in sorrow because of the inevitable stupidity, arrogance, and corruption in the world is irrational.
11. Being afraid is simply the process of donating your power to whatever it is you fear. There is no hope for equality if the masses all donate their power to a single body.
10. I refuse to converse with a close-minded man, I would rather my chauffeur be blind.
9. People rely too heavily on other people to define themselves when they should characterize themselves based on their own intuition, then have others express their criticism.
8. Love cannot be forced in or out of a person; it flows through people as it pleases.
7. How can anyone be sure of their position without considering the argument of their opposition?
6. Do everything with the good of human kind in mind, and you shall never do wrong.
5. A happy person is just a person who’s forgotten what’s going wrong.
4. The best way to make a bad situation worse is to get upset about it.
3. A parent who teaches a child to learn is the greatest kind of parent; a parent who cannot learn from a child is the worst kind.
2. Evil is not a person, it is an act.
1. If you’re staring at the obstacle in your path, you will never be able to see the way around it.

Found your link on CS and I’ve been slowly wading my way through your posts. I like your style of writing and you’ve inspired me to actually start getting my own blog up and running, instead of just thinking about it. Thanks x
