’ grow on trees. I was never spoilt and if it could be manufactured-make it! It’s been interesting converting this prudency into offering to God. Praise God, I have a joy in giving.’s values and says so much about a person’s priorities.’s about not wasting.

One of the earliest memories of my parents (who were adopted) was their instilling of truth into my well-being. My twin sister and I were told that most people would be honest with us if they knew we were truthful with them.

Being fair was another tremendous virtue. As a sportsman, this was critical to my progress in my attitude. They were fair in all they did and if believed it “rubbed” off on me.

Some of the children I associated with did not have much and I was made aware of that fact. My parents encouraged me to share toys and even holidays, explaining that our family was comfortable. We became very used to bringing other children with us on holiday.

As both parents worked hard- I was expected to do likewise- no excuse!

It is said cleanliness is next to Godliness. Clean body, clean mind and clean attitude. To be adverse is to be in reverse.
