Do You Believe in Coincidence?

There are mysteries of this world that are nothing short of unexplainable. When weird things happen we tend to ride it off as a coincidence, but some experiences go beyond this.

·         The boys grew up unaware they were a part of a twin, both boys ended up in law enforcement for a career.

·         The boys tinkered in carpentry and mechanical drawing as they aged.

·         When they married, they both married women called Linda. Now, even you have to admit this is getting weird but it doesn’t stop there.

·         After marriage the twin boys both had children of their own. They both had sons. One called their son James Alan; the other called their son James Allen. Coincidence? Who can say but it wasn’t over for this twin.

·         After years of marriage, it crumbled and both men divorced. Shortly after they remarried. Both of the second wives name was Betty!

·         Both of the men bought a dog, which is not unusual on its own, but what takes this coincidence a little further was that they both named their dog Toy.

·         Many years later the twin was reunited. After playing catch up with their lives they both found it unbelievable at the coincidences in their lives which I’m sure you do as well but the weirdest thing was yet to come.

·         It is recorded that one brother was killed by a lorry in a snowstorm while the other died two hours later by a lorry. You have to admit this is really stretching coincidence.

Edgar Allen Poe’s Book,

·         Edgar Allen Poe was a great writer of stories as well as poetry and wrote a book about four survivors of a ship wreck that were adrift in a dory for many days. This story was fiction but in Poe’s story the men that were adrift killed the cabin boy, Richard Parker, and ate him to stay alive. Years later there was a real ship wreck and four men were set adrift in a dory. They killed the cabin boy and ate him to stay alive. The cabin boy’s name….. Richard Parker!

This may sound cliche but I don’t believe in coincidence. Each single thing happens for a purpose. I believe that when the world was created, everything had been predestined and predetermined according to the divine plan. Great write yaffel.

I was hooked too. And, yes, I believe in the POWER of coincidence. I am utterly amazed by people who don’t make the connection.

Fascinating! I don’t believe in coincidences, either. I believe in an incredibly intelligent designer who is capable of weaving events for thousands of generations so that “coincidences” can occur.

    Yaffel
Wonderful read. I believe, “nothing by accident”…and I do beleive strange things do happen, that the unexplained happens, and yet I also believe, there is a Supreme Being who knows all about these things from start to finish.
