How Can We Know for Sure?

Is there anything we know for sure?

“Is there any knowledge in the world, which is so certain that no reasonable or logical man can doubt?”

This question, which at first sight may not seem difficult, is actually one of the most difficult questions that can be asked. Though hard to understand, almost every known “fact” we know has a flaw, which someone can doubt. The idea that humans have discovered facts, full-proof knowledge, has indeed been overlooked, by both scientists and commoners. Yet this is not enough for any competent or stubborn scientist, to agree.

i.e. 1+1=2, does one object together with another make two?

Though it seems easy at first sight, a deeper questioning will prove that there are exceptions, to this question. Let’s take clay for example; if you were to shape two pieces of clay together, what would happen? There would be one bigger piece, thus this proves that 1+1=2 is wrong, though the volume of the clay expanded, thus it proves that 1+1=1 (bigger piece).

Mans knowledge of the human body or of outer space, and going through time, can yet be altered by the vicissitudes of fate, however there are many aspects man cannot grasp, at the moment, due to the limitation of his sight, and how the common phrase “seeing is believing” strengthens such this limit. I cannot say I am the first to realize such small flaws in mans knowledge, but I hope this changes your concept of human beings, and how their “sky’s the limit” is a very low set sky.
