Mirror Image

A reflection of one can be very controversial to that of another.

Every now then, the thought hits me, I haven’t ever physically seen myself with my own eyes.

There is something about that thought that provokes the senses in every way possible. The only devices that we have been able to see of ourselves are merely reflections. Yes, even the camera that captures what we look like is none other than a reflection of light.

Every day people that you have met have taken something from you that you haven’t ever or ever will grasp a hold of your solid image. A reflection is defined to be a simple representation of something, in this case it is your own mass of human body. What you hold and no one can grasp fully are your thoughts and your own reflections, everyone sees things differently.

Although one may have that key of seeing you, everyone views things in a different way. The way you see a homeless person on the street might not be the exact same way a relative or a friend would see them, the multitudes of opinions are great and are far too extensive to define in text. Even so the way a person might perceive could be a total disarrangement as you see yourself.

The mind is drawn by thoughts and the thoughts are infused by our sight, though even the blind can have thoughts regardless of sight but yet they gain their insight from what they hear and feel. A person could see you for your eyes and be captivated by them, or your demeanor and either shy away from it or take it on full force. “ An image is one thing and a human being is another. It’s very hard to live up to an image.” -Elvis Presley, I couldn’t agree with Elvis more, it would be very hard to live up to an image, taken it into fact what I had said previously everyone depicts different things.

There is one thing mind you, though the image of something or someone can and will be scattered about by ones mind the puzzle pieces will always fit back together as a whole image. You and I are merely the same. We are humans, and what we do in our lives are our choices. We can either better ourselves or we can stay remote. We can live or we can die. We can laugh at a joke or be offended. Life is one giant vice versa. Time and time again we will wake up and we will get dressed and look in mirror.

I do hope next time you see yourself, whether it be that of a reflection or definitely digital. A part of you will see, your reflections, your thoughts, your personality, the image you so truly desire to gaze upon.

“ Faith and Image have the same amount of letters, it is how you use your “Faith” that will account for your own mere image.” – E.F. Landeros
