One of My Favourite Quotes About Life and Why It is My Favourite. Quote Number Seven
Some people have favourite quotes that they believe are true about life, this is one of mine and the reason why.
There are hundreds of paths up the mountain, all leading in the same direction, so it doesn’t matter which path you take. The only one wasting time is the one who runs around and around the mountain, telling everyone that his or her path is wrong.
This reminds me of someone I used to work with, everything he spoke about sounded good, he always had this air of authority, which made you think he knew everything, however you didn’t actually see him do that much work, he just went around telling people how they should do their jobs.
Sometimes I used to feel so frustrated, thinking to myself, “Just do some work, and stop telling me how to do mine”. Whereas we should be working together, as a team. Then I realised you will find people like this everywhere in life, people who instead of concentrating on their own lives, they prefer to concentrate on what everyone else is doing. They spend too much time telling you how you should be doing this, and how you are doing that the wrong way, when instead they really should be concentrating on what they are doing.
I think that these type of people are afraid, they are afraid to do their own work, concentrate on their own life, this is why they distract themselves with your life. Don’t ever be afraid to tell them to get their noses out of your business and concentrate on their own, it may be the push they need to take a look at their life a bit more closer.
