Suffering Has No Place in Reality So Stop Helping to Create It
The notion that suffering plays a part in the fabric of reality is a pathogen that needs to be cured. Find out how you can be a part of the solution instead of continuing in that blind frenzy that adds to the problem.
I have reached a breaking point in my personal consciousness that has me completely fed up with all the crap that has been spread about suffering. I am sick and tired of those people who constantly blurt out the cuteism of “Everything happens for a reason.” thinking that it will make suffering more palatable to those going through it. I am sick and tired of people who spread the notion that all of this suffering has to do with some great spiritual test that we must endure. I am sick of those people who spread the lie that our experience on Planet Earth must be about suffering instead of the pleasure cruise that it should be. I believe in the de Chardin-esque notion that we are all spiritual beings having a material experience, however I believe the goal of this experience is to manifest happiness into The Universe. If we accept that suffering has a place in The Universe then we help to manifest it. Stop accepting suffering as a valid state of existence.
The very notion the suffering serves a purpose is a pathogen in the fabric of reality. In order to rid reality of that particular pathogen we must rid reality of another great pathogen that exists in our greater reality, the idea of a singular true religion. You might say “But, but religion helps us to be better human beings.”, to which I answer you, No, it does not. Religion corrupts the spirit and reality. Religion is a vehicle of control. Control corrupts our spirit and that of those we try to control and ruins the material trip that we are on. We need to begin to think of our existence on Planet Earth as a sort of cosmic trip to Hedonism. We are here to experience all of the good life has to offer and not get side tracked into creating a negative reality for ourselves and others.

How do I know this? Would it make you, the reader, believe me and take a step toward getting rid of suffering in reality, if I told you that God told me, or I channeled this concept from the Pleiadians? If that is what it takes to get you on board with creating a positive and happy reality for all then by all means think about it that way. This is not how I came to this belief. I came to this belief after years of hearing people talk about this or that aspect of life as a test or whatever for the afterlife, but at the same time putting others down because they became involved in things that they personally or culturally consider unsavory.

very well said. i completely agree with you, Mark. to promote suffering means a sad and miserable society. it’e everyones birthright to be happy and promote it. this is the positive way, as you rightfully mention, if everyone starts concentrating on HAPPINESS and PLEASURE then we can live life the way it should be. thanks very much for creating and sharing, i enjoyed it all.

No Pain No gain is a stupid saying outside of a bit of excerise.. and what doesnt kill you doesnt always make you stronger…
people enjoy creating suffering I think.. it makes them feel like part of the pecking order – very hard for people to reverse their way of thinking.

I feel your frustration here Mr. Brown. It sometimes feels like an uphill battle, the human race is so entrenched in the helplessness of being a victim. I have been contemplating this for some time, and have begun to see that we use religion as a cop out, a way to divorce ourselves of the responsibilities we have to ourselves, and by proxy, others. It is definitely time we grew up spiritually, the idea that a fatherly god that takes a personal interest in each individuals life has got to be left behind. We know this at a deeper level, the ills of this planet can be broken down to unruly children looking for parental attention. The thought that we will have the attention of our creator one way or another, the abhorrent things we do to one another, an outcry to an indifferent deity. Some choose to ignore the creator, others to make constant demands for proof that god exists. Both operating under the assumption that the cosmic awareness that thought us into existence is now somehow responsible for taking care of us as well. The atheist my say they don’t believe in god, but it is only a way to reduce the pain of perceived neglect. When we are able to realize that being of the creator infuses us with the responsibility of creation ourselves; then we will have made the necessary step in the elimination of suffering. The full awareness of our inherent power, will not be wasted on seeking attention, but applied to the betterment of all.

What a powerful expression….I do agree that we have to enjoy and will happiness…on the other hand we need not search for suffering individuals to alleviate their pain, yet we need not be instrumental and cause willful destruction and pain to others either…what about those as rapists, murderers and terrorists etc..Very thought provoking article!

I agree! You know, it strikes me as funny sometimes when people actually HURT themselves because they want to. Masochists, emos, whatever, I don’t understand why they would ever do such a thing… I enjoy life, and I don’t abuse it.
