The Game We Call Life

The desire to climb to the top, to succeed but what is the cost?

Often we walk blindfolded through a world in which we are guided by others voices, all of whom are fighting to succeed in their own goals. We place trust in them when our goals are similar, but they can just as easily lead us astray in order to gain the lead in the politics of life. Would it not be simpler if we all just opened our eyes and trusted what we saw, but alas what you see is not always what you get, nor is what you hear. So how on earth are we supposed to stand on legs that are so flimsy one fears they may collapse any second. I guess that is the way it works though…life is complicated, people, thoughts, ideas, are all inexplicably complex. There is often no right or wrong but a mere guess at what could be, or should. No one should ever live on the belief that trusting another is a mistake for often there are others who no better. But then again sometimes it is the reverse. Everyone makes mistakes, throw a sword and divert from what they hear or see from other people. Either way they will learn something, something good and useful or something they shall not do again. But what if they forget about the last time? What if they never learn? What happens then?
