The Truth or Lies
So what really counts as the truth or lies to you?
To be honest there isn’t any difference because its all in your head you only believe what you want to believe, hear what you want to hear, see only what you want to see, sound familiar, well it doesn’t only apply to women though they are the master of the art.
So basically there is a society that dictates what is sane and insane, but not everyone conforms in the same manner hence the telling them apart. A person who we deem to be “insane” accepts a different set of truths than the multitude does. Do you think that that actually makes them any less right in the manner that they conduct themselves?
Most people believe everything that society tells them is the norm and call themselves sane but are they really? Because there is the next person who will say there way is the right way.
Here is how a lie becomes a truth, one day you tell yourself a small convincing story about the world around you, the next day you will have to justify it. And so a chain or web of lies or truths is formed all it will take is some other person to tell another story in their favor to convince you otherwise, so at the end of the day it depends on who has the strong will to hang on to their story.
But society has programmed and conditioned us in a certain way that we should accept what popular belief dictates to us. At the end of the day we really do not have free choice because we have to abide by the rules that govern us otherwise we are said to be telling lies.
Ok so lets look at another example, the world economy doing the rounds up and down day in day out. I tell myself this is normal at times like this because we are going through change. But of course not everyone will think that they would rather believe some conspiracy going on.
Maybe the question then should be what is reality? is it what we tell our selves is true? I personally think it is because the only reality to me will be what I know to be true. If my reality is leaving in poverty then the only truth that I know is what poverty has offered me and that should not make me different or a liar. If I tell you that life is all about poverty am I lying? You would probably say yes but that would be the only truth I know.
So maybe the problem is that there is more people pretending or fitting in than there is those that are faced with the reality of life. The only truth they know is to adjust to situations even if it means them changing there way of life. So who is telling the truth and who is lying? Because for each one of them in their own sense they are both right. The solution would be to stop trying to convince the other person that there way is the wrong way.
So here we have a society where some people are HIV+ in there world (my world) nothing has changed but if I tell that to people that are negative and some even positive will say I am lying. The truth is I am still the same me with a virus that can’t be cured. I have to adjust in respect of taking more care, being considerate so I don’t spread the disease other than that I am still old me.
Anybody with a terminal illness feel like they are displaced in society but I wonder what this really has to do with acceptable norms of society. Is society meant to be healthy for all its time on earth? Are our body not meant to exhaust at some point in what way it doesn’t matter I mean there people who kick the bucket far much early than those with an illness.
So if I take you for the person that you are why not take me for the person that I am with my change in circumstances. Listen to me and not what you are told by others about what someone with a terminal illness is going through. If you want to know the truth, talk to me and not believe your own truth to judge me.
We all leave a lie it just depends how many people along the way you have managed to convince that yours is the true lie. I can seat next to you in a pub and tell you my life story today omitting out the fact that I am HIV+ and you will believe it is the truth and invite me into your house. The simple truth is I have told myself for the day that is the truth and I have to make you believe me.
Reality is whatever set of lies you choose to believe so you tell me how many lies have you told today????

I do tell the truth because lies have a habit of getting you found out, so i tell the truth, only now and again do i tell a white lie if its for the benefit of a person, or a surprise is in store for them. I used to have a couple of friends in the past, they told lies and when they were found out, instead of admitting defeat they carried on lieing, another mixed her lies in with the truth she never knew which was a lie or the truth so she convinced herself what she was saying was the truth. Thanks for sharing this with us.
