Think Positive with New Thoughts

Condition your mind to think positive. Accept the world as it is and do not find faults with anyone and anything.

Different people look at things differently and you should accept this reality and respect these differences your life changes dramatically. You become more relaxed, happy and stress free. Understanding different points of view is a sure way to educate yourself. When you read or listen to absolutely different thoughts it gives you a valuable insight into the minds of other people and it also opens up your mind to new ideas learning.

            Unless you  are open to new thoughts and new ideas you will be living a very limited life. An open mind reduces stress and opens new vistas of knowledge that make you more understanding them is a very good way to educate yourself. It also makes you more tolerant of others, which is essential for your peace of mind and happiness.

            A lot of unhappy thoughts can be done away with if we are careful,but we tend to harbour them and make ourselves unhappy. An argument with your spouse before you leave in the morning or an unhappy event in your past, which is a memory now, is no more than just a thought for you. You can dismiss it from your mind in a moment and substitute it with happy thoughts, or wallow in it for as long as you like and be as upset and as unhappy as you want to allow yourself to be. Always remember, mental peace is just a moment away, it is up to you to find it or let it be.

            Positive conditioning of your mind is absolutely necessary for you to feel happy. Accept this world as it is and always look for good for everyone and everything. No one is perfect and nothing can be just the way you want it to be and it is wise to realise this fact and understand it. It cannot be otherwise.      

            Whenever you are striving to be perfect or expect others to be so, you unwittingly get engaged in a losing battle. You get focused on what is wrong with you and the people around you and this leads to stress and mental anguish. No one is perfect, or can ever be. There will always be scope for improvement and it is wise not to get trapped in discontentment and make life difficult for everyone.

            Learning to be patient can eliminate a lot of suffering of the human mind. The best thing about patience is that we can all learn to be a little more tolerant than what we are. To start with, you can make a resolve to be patient for a short while, even as little as five minutes. You will find that this is easy. When you have practised this enough you can go on increasing your time till you find that everyday trivialities no longer bother you as much as they used to. This can be especially useful when you have little kids to deal with, or too many responsibilities to look after, all at the same time.
