A Preview of Socialism in America

If you want to see the preview of the Obama Socialism in America look at California where the politicians have over the years tried to implement the social programs BO now has in the wings for America.  And look good.  Health care, full government funded education, services for illegal aliens.  But today the California State government is broke.  It is issuing IOU’s to vendors, taxpayers and even employees. 

In Pennsylvania another governor who doesn’t get the message sees a 3.2 billion dollar shortfall this hear and is asking for a one billion dollar increase in taxes by increasing the income tax by sixteen percent.  The Senate is not going for it.  The only reason we aren’t in the same mess with California is some conservative governors like Tom Ridge who held the line on the rampant liberal socialist encroachment. It is no longer creeping socialism, it is going at a full gallop.

The media is calling these budget impasses.  Are they?  No.  They are the result of largess and social programs that have run amok.  These have grown faster than a cancerous tumor and in fact that is what these programs are, a tumor that will kill the host by sapping the energy and resources of the host, i.e. the state.  Today it is California.  If Slick Eddie is given his way in a year or two it will be Pennsylvania.  If BO is given his way before the end of his term, unless we remove him, it will be the nation.  He promised change.  On 1/20/2009 America was clearly the greatest country in the world.  BO is working hard to make us a second or third rate nation.  It is hate for this country, hate from a man who should never sit in the White House because he is not a Natural Born Citizen.  At one time I considered these charges frivilous but he could easily have laid them to rest by producing the documentation.  Since he has refused to do so and is willing to spend lawer money to avoid doing it, I am assuming he cannot produce the documentation and he is not a proper citizen.  It would have been easy to “Produce the docs” if they existed!

Already there are cracks in the BO plan.  Leaving Iraq has slowed.  Liberals are mad at him for not yanking the troops out fast.  He is now transferring them to another battlefield and we are being mired in a war that will become far more deadly than Iraq in Afghanistan.  This hell-hole, and that is what it is, broke the Russian army.  At one point every Russian soldier had seen combat because every one of them had served there and a lot of them came home in body bags.  They failed to pacify the country and they left.  It was the Russian Vietnam only worse.
