Acorn in a Nutshell

Now that Acorn has been exposed for the corrupt organization that it is, the left is launching it’s accusations. Groups are now attacking the messenger, other than the offenders. As it the way with most scandals on the left side of the government isle, blame someone else, distort the facts with talking points and smear anyone who’s in the way.
Now the Acorn shell has been cracked. The state of Georgia, just passed a ban on renewing any contracts with the group and more states will follow. The federal house passed a billed today as well to stop funding for the group, 77 democrats voted against it, check the vote for the names.
The group has threaten lawsuits against Fox news, and the young film maker and the courageous young lady who started this whole scandal. More diversion tactics.
If more citizens had the same commitment to weeding out corruption in our federal government, maybe we control not only the money spent on groups like ACORN, but pork spending as well.
The main news outlets all but refused to cover the ACORN story, until it was posted on Drudge. It was almost like that maybe they had their own agenda to protect, other than a timely and informed story to it audience. The rating of the nightly new cast pretty much make that case.
We don’t know exactly where the ACORN story will lead, but if further investigations need to made as to what politicians benefited from ACORN, especially on the voter fraud that many were arrested for. The same people who screamed that Bush stole the election, didn’t say a word about the fraud perpetrated by ACORN for the Democratic candidates.
We will keep a careful watch on the events of the coming days concerning ACORN. If today’s events are any indicator, the news should get more and more interesting. The next investigations should be on the democratic support of ACORN, and the benefits received by members of the government. Is your Representative one of these people? Can you talk to them, or can’t reach them through the shell of superiority that surrounds them. Let them know that ACORN has had it’s shell cracked, their shell could be next.
It’s our country, not the governments, let’s keep it.
