Deadbeat Republic
They are your neighbors, your family and your friends, and they don’t belong here. They have enjoyed the benefit of unions, the protection of the Fire and Police Departments, they have teachers and nurses, and military men who have become an inconvenience, and a deficit.
Deadbeat Republic
The retired union worker who votes against unions, on the grounds that he/she did not like having to pay union dues, and did not like their union investing in political parties;
The retired medical insurance employee who does not support the Affordable Healthcare Reform Act, and thinks that the government should not intervene when the insurance companies overcharge their subscribers;
The citizens who vote to end protection for their Fire Fighters, Policemen, Educators and Healthcare Professionals;
The people who have no complaints paying for our military to go to war, only to bitch about their sexual alignment, only to whine about the cost of their protective armor, only to cry over the price of their artificial limbs and life support systems and social re-integration programs;
They are among you. They are your neighbors, your friends, and your family. They are the Deadbeat Republic. They do not honor their debts, and they do not belong in this country.
