Democratic Communism

by Jonathon Davis in Politics, March 22, 2009

It’s clearly obvious that our government has taken our trust and used it to further their own goals and agendas.

I once read the words, “The government that governs least, governs best” and those words ring truer today than the day I read them.  Emerson and Thoreau each alike recited similar words when discussing the government before their eyes in the middle of the 19th century.

I see how life was then, and how the government has grown exponentially since those words were said.  As if the words fell on deaf ears, and the American Civil War never happened.

For is it not the inalienable rights as a human being to self-govern one’s person by morals and conscience than an arbitrary group of men who play by their own rules, and act on the guidelines of advancing their own political careers.  Our lives are dictated by the majority, meaning most, but the majority is still not all.  For what benefits you, may not ultimately benefit me.  But as it appears, if you have the ability to persuade others to share the same goals, then my hopes will be squandered while yours are achieved.

Each law, regulation, rule, or statute is debated not on Capital Hill, but within ourselves alone.  No law can prevent an action from happening if it’s in the accused eyes to be committed.  For it’s our own moral judgements that present us with answers to our own questions.  Punishment coming forth by said law or regulation has no bearing for the righteousness of ones own moral fiber, when it’s held in higher esteem than any punishment that can be levied.

Let it be said that I am the master of my own domain, and robbing Peter to pay Paul will satisfy Paul, but will ultimately lead in a loss of respect from Peter.  As my own government takes from me and gives to others, my respect for them also lowers in degree.  When my rights can not be trampled anymore, my respect will lead to pure disgust, and civil disobedience will be thrust forward that has never been seen before.

Our own politicians can stand on Capital Hill behind a microphone and fake a tear to embolden themselves in the idea that they feel our pain and outrage.  All in the disguise of night to pull the wool over our eyes as we see before us repugnant fools with the self respect of a prostitute.  Mere shylock’s in the shadows who only wish to push their own agenda.

The raging river that divided communism and democracy becomes murkier by the day.  A government “for the people and by the people”, is now against the people, as the people have no say over what’s done.  Bills tear through Congress at a staggering pace, without a single page being read, and approved by a president that uses primal fear to achieve his own motives of tearing down a nation and rebuilding it the way he wants it to look.

Only to be outclassed by his predecessor who also played on hearts and souls with blatant lies of weapons of mass destruction to further his own personal goals of destroying a man that his own father couldn’t finish himself.  A standing army that’s used not for our benefit, but for his.

Even with these despicable men amongst us, none hold a candle to the wicked witch of the west, madam Speaker of the House.  The gall of a woman to question her own country, and it’s ability to keep it’s borders closed to intruders.  Referring to her own country that she took an oath to protect as Un-American.  Selling out her own people for the single chance of being re-elected.

The lack of morals and self righteous indignation of some, will lead to the failure of all.  For it’s all that will suffer when they fail.  A vortex of money and greed faces us in broad daylight, and has the brazenness to look us straight in the eye, lie to us, and smile while doing it.
