God and The Wisdom He Offers O Live Life

Yes I am going to harp on the lack of decency in the human race again.  Just like everyone else I have been watching the news reports of the events in Egypt during the first week of February 2011.  I am as concerned as most people about the innocent victims in Egypt.

Around the world we see sad examples of people of nations and their leaders at dire opposite positions.  For the first two years of Obama’s administration it was obvious that democrats, some republicans, and Obama did not care about the opinions of American citizens.  Therefore, Egypt is not the only nation were the leaders of a nation are against the people they are suppose to serve.

However, I do not believe the events in Egypt are about good people yearning for freedom.  The spirit of modern man has concerned me for many years.  The solutions for the turmoil around the world are in good and decent people.

Good and decent people do not set things on fire.  They do not throw rocks at people or windows. Good and decent people do not try to kill people.

Our human reality is that many believe that government leaders have the answers.  However, people have agendas.  In one report about Egypt I saw a picture of Mubarak with the Star of Israel drawn over his face.

I have to question if this revolution for democracy will result in Egypt being a good neighbor to Israel.  There are obvious Islamic operatives in Egypt that want Egypt to become an Islamic state.

I am concerned about the good, decency, meekness, humbleness, righteousness, purity, and civility of many of the people of the world.  For some reason we have become rather mean and violent.

Democracy and freedom are pure concepts that should move people to reverence.  That which is good and decent in a person should take notice.

However, we see many examples of people using democracy as a mask.  Iran is supposed to be a democratic society.  We all know that the religious elders in Iran run the nation and that elections are rigged. 

Therefore, maybe modern man just isn’t any good any more.  In one news report a woman of 72 years had to fight of attackers at her apartment in Egypt.  What could harming such a person contribute to a movement for democracy?
