Healthcare vs. Socialism

In reference to the Obama healthcare plan, regarding the fact that it could possibly be a plan to lead us through the doorway to Socialism.

“One of the traditional methods of imposing Socialism is through healthcare.  It’s easy to disguise a medical program as a humanitarian project.”  A paraphrased statement made by Ronald Regan before he took office as President.

People who depend on Social Security and Medicaid are significantly affected by the rising cost of prescriptions and medical treatments.  Families in lower income brackets often have to make a decision that should never have to be made in America; to buy food or the medication they need to maintain their health or in some instances, their life.

A healthcare plan with free prescriptions, free doctor visits and affordable cost to all is a welcoming relief from the dilemma of expenses far above their income.  Many citizens, at the Obamacare onset felt the plan to be exactly what they needed…until the death panels were introduced into the plan.

Town hall meetings across the country revoked those thoughts when questions, asked of the Senators, could not be answered. Once the death panels were brought to the public’s attention, the government run healthcare plan took a downward spiral.

The extreme urgency to get the plan passed was another negative.  Mr. Obama showed up on television more often than Dr. Phil.  His answers were not always, what the people wanted to hear, but Mr. Obama felt his charisma and his oratory abilities were enough once again, to satisfy the American people.

Mr. Obama made history when he became the first American President of color.  He is pushing hard to get the healthcare plan passed, not for the benefit of the citizens, but for his mark of glorification.  This healthcare plan has been brought before Americans’ for the past fifty years, if it should pass, Mr. Obama would receive a trophy.  However, what about the citizens of the United States, what would they receive?

Barack Obama, Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi are reaching to the limits to get this healthcare passed.  What are their limits?  Better put, do any of the three have limits?  Nancy Pelosi, in one of her speeches said there would be no public options, a day or so later, she said the bill could not be passed without public options.  At the risk of the bill passing, the public options will defiantly be added later.
