Healthcare vs. Socialism
In reference to the Obama healthcare plan, regarding the fact that it could possibly be a plan to lead us through the doorway to Socialism.
Socialistic healthcare should not be an option for America. Socialism is common ownership, everything is owned by the entire population. From each according to ability, to each according to needs, similar to the answer the campaigning Obama gave to Joe the Plumber about spreading the wealth.
Karl Marx was the first known to establish the ideology of Socialism. Marx believed Socialism removes the class struggle, thus providing for everyone regardless of class or status.
Using a ruler as a guide, America is at the number one mark, and Communism is at the number twelve mark, Socialism would be half way between the two, on number six. Socialism plays a vital role in the development of Communist takeover.
Government controlled healthcare moves America off the number one mark on the ruler and pushes us uneasily toward Socialism. The Government then calls all the shots concerning our healthcare. Our well- being is at stake. President Obama stated in one of his many speeches, “We will give them a red pill or a blue pill and send them home, rather than having them occupy a hospital room.” Furthermore, he believes an asthma attack to be a minor problem that does not require a child being seen at the Emergency Room. The government has no right to make medical decisions for the American people.
A prime example of government run healthcare lies in the lap of our Canadian neighbors. Long waiting lines to see a doctor, unconcern for those with terminal illnesses, months to receive test that are essential for determining and treating the patient, and lack of coverage for certain illnesses. When the preverbal blue pill or red pill no longer works, the sick come across the border to America to receive the best treatment the world has to offer.
The insurance in America is costly and many go uninsured because of that cost. Regardless of the cost it still remains to be the best. Tweaking the insurance is an option. Everyone could have affordable insurance if instead of reforming the government would set limits on the insurance companies. If an insurance in another states offers better coverage at a lower price than the home state offers, across state lines should also be an option. Americas’ insurance coverage is not broken it simply needs repaired.
It is not the responsibility of the “Big Brother” to supply healthcare needs, or make medical decisions for the people. It is the responsibility of each individual to have insurance coverage, be it private, Medicare or Medicaid. The Medicaid system has used the same format for the last fifty years. Both Medicare and Medicaid should have stronger stipulations.
The privacy between a doctor and their patient will be expelled when the National Data Base is put to action.
Insuring that everyone have healthcare is a fallacy. There will always be Americans’ without coverage. However, covering those of illegal status is not the responsibility of the American taxpayer. Considering the money the government allots to the Czars for their operation of, ”yet to be determined,” ploys, could by all means be a gigantic sum toward the re-birth of Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid.
