How to Reduce the Power of Congress
Ideas to help limit the power of our body of government.

As everyone can tell, we need to figure out some way to limit power in the higher offices to prevent corruption. I think there is a simple fix for this. Congressmen/women have too much power to throw around. This is evident. There is no term limit in the house so we have a cycle of the same representatives over and over with the same old ideas. Most of these ideas is to grant them more individual power.
Also the same is true with the senate. Election by popular means is no way to operate this sector of Congress. Appointment by the house would solve this. With the term limits on the house there will be new appointments in the senate. Also something to help our tax situation. TAX THESE PEOPLE! They don’t get taxed so they have no problem raising your taxes. It creates more money for them to waste like on “earmarks”. Feel free to post comments and other ideas.
