How to Register to Vote Online
Are you registered to vote? Here’s an easy way to do it.
As we all know this election year is going to be a big one. With Congress having a 9% approval rating and the President having one of the lowest approval ratings of any President in history (though he is doing about four times as good as Congress) the people are unhappy with current politics. It is time for change. Even people who normally do not vote are going to want to get involved this year with important votes such as gay marriage in some states, and the president being on the ballot. So if you have not already registered don’t worry it is easy to register you don’t even have to leave home you can even start while reading this article.
The first thing that you will want to do before you get ready to register is make sure you have all your personal information such as name, address, and social security number. First you will need to print your full name, then your address and P.O. boxes do not count. Have your social security or drivers license number with you. You will need to submit your telephone and e-mail. If you belong to a party you need to state, which party you, are a member of. Fill out the section that asks where you have been registered to vote previously. If you will be voting absentee you need to state that. You do not need to check your race it is optional and it is the last question you will need to answer to be able to register to vote. Each state is different but you can easily Google the government link that should end in .gov or a similar end tag not a .com to get to the right site.
