Israeli-Palestinian Conflict
Different information on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
Withdrawal of Gaza
Over the years, palestine and Israel have been in constant conflict, and confrontations. Israel has conquered and left Gaza many times. The first time Israel got Gaza was after the six day war. Israel then after Oslo gave up the Gaza strip for the sake of peace. The Palestinians said they wanted their land back to live in peace with Israel. Israel’s withdrawal from Gaza was a huge step forward, because this was land they’d earned through hard fighting, but they were now giving up to their enemies for a promise. This was very important for Israel to do, because they really want peace, and if they hadn’t satisfied Palestinian demands, no peace talk would even have occurred.Wall between Israel and West Bank
The Israeli wall built between Abu Dis and Jerusalem was originally proposed by Yitzhak Rabin because of the frequent terrorist attacks on jews mainly inside Jerusalem, but in the rest of Israel. The Wall’s sole purpose was peace. Israel didn’t want to have to deal with all of this hatred and war inside it’s country anymore, so they built this wall. This closes off Palestine from Israel. The are several checkpoints throughout the wall, but to go through you need special papers, and you and your vehicle are thoroughly checked for any weapons and such. Since the wall has been up, there have been much less incidents happening i n Israel. All the Palestinians have been able to do is shoot rockets at Israeli houses.Political PartyThe Hamas is in power in Gaza. The Israeli government is in power in the West Bank. There are many differences between these two governments. Hamas is a radical Islamic government. Hamas uses terrorism to get there message through. The Israeli government wants peace, but Hamas wont let that happen.

Partially true, partially false. In any case, I think its absurd to say that Hamas is “radical” and a “terrorist”. Israel shouldn’t exist in the first place, which is what anyone who knows any history would say. I most certainly agree that the 10 million + Jews in the world NEED a homeland, but you can’t just say one fine day that the land in the Middle East, i.e Palestine seems suitable, so lets conquer it. Its a whole long discussion, but anyway, peace – and thanks for the reasonable information, though, but I suggest editing it.
Cheers.

The size of Israel is only a fraction of land which is owned by it’s enemies. Palestinian’s need to self govern themselves away from Israel. There will never be peace as long as the two exist side by side.
I say instead of destroying Israel the Muslims should yield a tiny portion of their vast land resouce for the Palestinians.
Any organization which funds and supports children suicide bombers, firing thousands of rockets tward populated areas in hope of blowing up an innocent family, creates, fosters and feeds seething and excalating hatred from generation to generation -is- a radical organization. At least for me that is.
