Jim Crow Segregation
by Some politicians still have the Jim Crow-mentality and are not capable of running this country, fairly.
Why would the average American think that the Republicans are racists? Because they are. I read the book: Virginia Hasn..t Always Been For Lovers”. It’s about the segregation law in the state of Virginia and all of United States. Great reference book but depressing. Even more so now, because today I´m reading an article: The GOP is working to keep eligible African Americans from voting in several states. With the help of a 2008 Supreme Court decision, Crawford vs. Marion County (Indiana) Election Board – white Republicans in some areas will keep eligible blacks from voting. All those who lost their homes in the mortgage crises, better re-register their new address or can´t vote. Was this all set up from the get-go? Was the housing crises tied into vote registration? Then you wonder why Americans still have a problem dealing with a black president – because people running the country do. So John McCain says he´s about change, yet the people who picked his VP, are not. These people loathe the average American, and for sure can’t stomach the blacks, mulattoes, Indians, Mexicans, Chinese, Mongolians, to name a few. The law as resent as 1974 in some states, was that any white sexually involved with these people would be arrested. And for sure could not marrying outside their race. But changing the law does not change the mind-set, and why you see few blacks at the Republican convention. So how is McCain about “change” when he’s ready to bust-a-move to the past tired, racist tactics? - keep the blacks from voting. Don’t matter that this country is collapsing at every level. What a sick bunch of so-called Americans. And if the sickos had the choice: to die or have a black carry his or her sorry-ass out of harms way – would surely opt for the latter. What hypocrites – and got the gall to act as God..s chosen few. They give religion a bad name. The Republican party is wrapped in hypocrisy, so they will not bring change. They know a certain amount of the public are stupid. But as an American, I can..t see the only superpower ruled by the stupid. What will that say to the rest of the world?
