Manmohan Singh, why should you be trapped like Abhimanyu

2G Scam has traumatized the entire India. Swami, the man who filed the case at Supreme Court of India, declared that Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has been trapped like Abhimanyu from all sides. Is it possible to trap the Prime Minister of such a large democratic country?

Manmohan Singh has said earlier that he wanted to be economist to eradicate poverty. Now he has become the Prime Minister of India. Why a person considered to have a strong vision to take forward India to the path of reforms, a person labeled as bone honest politician, should be trapped by dishonest people around him in 2G Spectrum Scam. He has been silent for 11 long months. He could not answer Swami or neither he himself took a firm decision to remove the Scam tainted Minister and bureaucrats.

He was a teacher, a civil servant, Governor of Reserve Bank of India, finance minister and now one the most respectable leader in the World. Why he was not ready to take any measure to stop such a huge scam. Is it coalition politics, or the entire mechanism created by him is dam slow. Both are not expected from a man of this stature.

Is democracy too fragile to take right decision in right time. If democracy is not able to stop misuse of exchequer of this proportion, then why should we have the democracy at all? I am not sure, who can answer this question. It is not at all debatable, it is a fact and the Prime Minister is not trapped, we the citizen of India is trapped.
