Mitt Romney Pretends He Does NOT Know What is in Ndaa

A concerned voter got to ask Mittens Romney whether he supports the NDAA, the indefinite detention of US citizens without trial, charges, jury, lawyer or habeus corpus. Romney is alleged to be the smartest Republican in the race. But he did not have an answer to the important question.

This is the link to the voter asking Romney the question. http://www.infowars.com/romney-doesnt-know-whats-in-ndaa-vaccines-dropped-from-the-sky-more/  Scroll about 6 minutes or so to into the video. I attended a Mittens Romney rally http://socyberty.com/politics/people-watching-at-mitt-romney-rally-charleston-sc/ last week in the hopes that I could ask him this question on the NDAA.  I had to assume that Romney is for the NDAA since he accepted the endorsement of John McCain, the author of the bill.  http://socyberty.com/politics/mitt-romney-supports-ndaa-and-detainment-john-mccain/  John McCain has been campaigning with Romney since he endorsed Romney last week.  Romney took no questions at the rally in Charleston, SC I attended.

Alex Jones, on his website, posted a video where a New Hampshire voter did get to ask Mittens about the NDAA.  In spite of the NDAA being in the news, Mittens had no direct response to this direct question.  Mittens said that he did not know what part of the bill the woman was asking about.  He said he would have to look into it.  He then changed the topic in a subtle matter to Al-qaeda and radical Islam.  Mittens changed the topic from detaining US citizens without charges to the detainment of war prisoners at Guantanamo Bay in Cuba.   http://socyberty.com/politics/obama-congress-celebrated-10-yrs-of-guantanamo-w-ndaa/.  Club Gitmo, as Rush Limbaugh calls it, celebrated its tenth anniversary yesterday.

The woman did not get a chance to ask a follow up question.  Mittens quickly moved on to the next voter and question.  Had she been able to ask the follow up question, I hoped she would ask “What does radical Islam have to do with the detainment of US citizens, pursuant to the NDAA, which is unconstitutional?”  I hope a voter gets to ask this to Romney over the next nine days in the lead up to the South Carolina primary.  I doubt seriously that Fox or CNN will ask Mittens this at the debates here in South Carolina next week.

It is disapointing that Mittens either does not have the honesty to say he supports detainment of US citizens without charges or is too stupid to do a little research on the bill.  This is why I support Ron Paul for president next week since he has condemned the NDAA.  I hope other South Carolina Republicans support Paul as well.
