More Perfect Union

The meaning of this part of that sentence is somehow overlooked by our current economic and financial difficulties being faced by most people. For myself, a “More Perfect Union” would mean that party politics in our congress would be left at the outside door when entering the halls of Congress so the elected officials could do the real business required by their jobs and without any outside influence by lobbyists and power brokers.

As the theme for a “More Perfect Union” continues, we must look to the average person when dealing with all of the economic and financial issues at hand today. The lack of jobs. The major companies still paying the CEO’s and executives bonuses and at the same time laying off people. The blindness and shortsightedness of not being able to see that all of the answers are at their disposal should our congress decide to listen and enact new legislation that would create a more fair work environment as well as a new class of jobs that I label as PGs-1 through PGs-12 (PGs is Private/Government Service) in line with an already existing GS list of jobs.

The new class of jobs would be used to implement a new type of job corps to enhance and expand various services and plans put into action by congress. One possible plan would be the “Solar Plan” I have blogged about or the development of the “closed loop” hydrogen fuel cell technology. Both of these plans would put people to work immediately all over the country and at the same time be providing added generation of power in all areas as well. In addition to this, more of the needed research into other emerging  technologies could be funded with the proceeds from the solar plan or array of solar/wind/hydrogen fuel cell power generation as it grows all over the country.

Secondary jobs in our economy would be enhanced as well by the products needed in all areas of our country has to be constructed and engineered and get to the destinations somehow, either by overland trucking or rail or by air or sea.

The money invested by the plans would be recovered by our persistence to make sure that all of the revenues generated by all of my previous plans written within my blogs would sent to a trust fund overseen by a delegation from congress and the private sector to make sure the government always has an ongoing source for revenue other than income tax and fees collected for various enterprises.

The phrase “More Perfect Union” has many more connotations as well. One of them is that most people has government doing more to enhance the lives of all people regardless of economic status. Another has our government being more of a partner in economic development and prosperity all over our land.

The key to all of my thinking is a way to get our government to look to the ones to whom put them in office. By making the lives of ordinary people better by providing electricity at no charge and also by doing so actually “invests” in the happiness and well-being of citizens.

I can only hope that our founding fathers are not frowning on what is happening in our great nation as a result of “politics” taking over control instead of actual representation.
