Mr. Albert Gore, Jr. Please Don’t Run
An assessment of Al Gore
Former Vice-President Al Gore has hopefully been released from that insane desire to lead America to the promised land, as the President of the United States. At this point in time Mr. Gore is enjoying his new found popularity as the top ring master in the war on global warming. When someone mentions global warming, an automatic picture of Mr. Gore jumps into their mind(subjective point of view).
He has so loosened up, not worrying about his weight,
not a good thing, wearing checked shirts when testifying at Congressional hearings. The old Vice-President Gore would never have worn a checked shirt into the hallowed halls of Congress.
He is being considered for a Nobel Prize, he will probably win it, he should. What is more serious and vital, than the continuity of the eco-systems of the earth we in habit. Without clean water and air, we all will become extinct, believe it or not. Mr. Gore has become the earth’s savior of sorts, he truly cares. In this position, with his films, concerts, and speeches, trying to raise the awareness of the earth’s population, he is so much more influential than trying to convince people to vote for him to be president.
Mr. Gore received more votes than the current occupant of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue but the position was not supposed to be his at that time and so we have what we have. Why should Mr. Gore run for the position again, maybe win and then have to clean up the mess that has been made by this administration? Mr.Gore should not have to be President Bush’s clean-up man, let someone else clean up the mess. Namely, the first woman president, or the first African-American president, or perhaps the first Mormon president. These individuals would have that historical “first” quality which could possibly offset the fact that they are going to have to do a lot of restoring and rebuilding of relationships around the world. They would not have to be looked at, as the loser who now has the job of cleaning up the mess made by the man he once lost to, if you know what I mean.
Mr. Gore, please, let someone else carry the shovel behind the elephant, you have more important things we would like to see you take on.
