Now That The Election is Over?

Well, the election is now officially over, and the republicans have once again gained control of the House of Representatives..
What will be their agenda with Boehner in charge as Speaker of the House? According to their “Pledge to America” Contract, there’s very little to tell us, but I do know what they won’t do.
- They won’t cut their salaries or their personal expense budgets (or give up their health care insurance).
- They probably won’t be able to repeal the Health Care Reform Bill, because Democrats still have control of the Senate (although a slim control).
- They will renew the Bush Tax Cuts, they’ll try to cut the Social Security Benefits, Medicare, and Medicaid programs, I think also they’ll try to repeal the extended unemployment benefits.
- They don’t want to fund the Department of Education, or the Department of Health and Human Services (as a matter of fact, they’d like to abolish them completely).
He said he couldn’t find anyone who supported the Public Option for Health Care.. Wasn’t he listening to his constituents? See for yourself.. Youtube Video (in case the video doesn’t get embedded)
If this is what he thinks, in regards to this, what else has he said that’s a non-truth?
I feel sorry for us America, we’ve just moved from bad to worse. So don’t come crying, because all you’ll hear from me is “I told you so.”
