Obama and Kennedy: BHO and JFK

A comparison of the two men.

Many consider JFK to be one of the great presidents of the last hundred years. Although I don’t consider him in the top four, I would rank him well above the bottom. Those bottom spots are firmly held by Johnson, Hoover and Clinton. All three left the country looking great but in a royal mess. I believe if Kennedy had served four or eight years this country would have been in better shape in 1972 and not mired in Johnson’s war. We may have fought in Vietnam and won. Kennedy did not understand the words defeat and surrender  Johnson did not understand winning. .

If you can read this list and still compare Obama favorably to Kennedy you are blind. Obama as a president ranks somewhere between Johnson and Clinton, that is just above the bottom..

Let’s compare JFK to BHO (The F stands for Fitzgerald.  The H stands for Hussein.)

Military Experience

JFK: Volunteer in the Navy before the war started, PT boat captain till 1945.

BHO: Zip, zilch, nada. He finds it difficult to support the military.

Business Experience

JFK: Studied at Stanford School of Business

BHO: Lawyer – no business training or experience. Has always been a politico.

Politics – Local

JFK: None

BHO: Community organizer.

Politics – State

JFK: None

BHO: Elected IL Senate 1997 – served 7 years. Was supported by the corrupt Cook County (Chicago) political machine.

Politics – US House of Representatives

JFK: Elected 1946 – served 6 years.

BHO: None

Politics – US Senate

JFK: Elected 1952 – served 8 years.

BHO: Served less than 4 years, two of which were spent out of town campaigning for president. Money for his campaigns has come from the radical left and the Hollywood Elite. They own him.

Legislative Action

JFK: Voted for significant legislation including the Civil Rights Bill – a vote that required some courage, even for a senator from Mass.

BHO: Never sponsored a significant bill or held a significant committee meeting.

Individual Responsibility

JFK: “Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country.”

BHO: Opposes reparations because he feels they do not go far enough.

Politics – Foreign

JFK: Traveled extensively with his dad, an ambassador.

BHO: No real experience unless you consider living abroad as a boy.

VotingRecord

JFK: In the senate he diverged from the party line often to support good bills that the Democrat party didn’t.

BHO: Has voted the NARL party line, the Environmental party line and the democrat party line when he didn’t vote present. Often he avoided voting or taking a stand this way. In the Illinois Senate he voted against bills to require doctors to try to save lives of children born alive during a late term abortion.

More important is that in our time we have somebody who would be held accoutable for the social contract he made with his constituents. He will deliver as he speaks, so that’s I’am looking for this moment and four years later. We as political watchers are not interested in the political analyses given here above, because it is a very ill-manner to aproach a political diva of our time. To call someone a lies looks to me very improper, so I’ll forgive the writer. In the old Roman Empire, you was really history fellow, so let us be wisely with this sort of deadly comments.

I don’t know what your point is, what you are saying and more important, I am pretty sure you don’t either. You are committed to Obama, right or wrong and he is wrong. He has LIED. YOu liberals say Bush is not fit to lead because he lied. Obama lied but he can lead. Double standard. Is he allowed to lie because of his left wing leanings, his race? I think not and Martin Luther King Jr would have agreed with me.

JTk is right! I had the same experience with this Ralph Brandt! Why would you write down your own thoughts, if you cannot tolerate the thougths of others?

If you comment on a piece I write or if you wish to make a short “this isn’t as presented” your comment will be allowed and it will stand even if it is negative. If it is a “Bash Ralph” it will be deleted. If it is an extensive posting of your ideas it will be deleted. IN this case, get your own site and post. If you are anonymous and irresponsible deletion is almost certain. Almavia and JTk tried to use the comment forum to present ideas that were outside the scope of the post. Such comments will be deleted.

    Dear Mr. Brandt,
It is true that my response to one of your stories was rather long. This was, however, due to the fact that 1) I strongly disagree with most of the points you were making and 2) There were many twisted facts and wrong data in your post. This means this took up some space to give you the right stats and figures. My aim was to provide you with sufficiant facts (mostly official statistics) to make my case in order to counter your argument in the hope your readers would see things from another perspective. I never did any “Bash Ralph”-ing of any kind. If someone disagrees with you, it doesn’t make him hate you. So, I’ll stick to my guns: Why would you write down your own thoughts, if you cannot tolerate the thougths of others?
    Many regards,
    Almaviva

I have two issues with your comments. First, I hav e no idea who Almaviva is and I can’t dialog if I feel I want to. Second you have the same right to post the extensive writing and then post a link to it on a comment.

I do not shut the door on comment, but I do not think the place for your theses is as a comment to my writing.

Set up an account. Write. Post to it. And give who you are, this anonymity you and JTk love is crap, pure crap.

First: Unless you want to use a personal argument (argumentum ad hominem), it doesn’t matter who writes what. “Who” writes is not important, “what” he writes, is!

Second: I understand my post was long. This might be an acceptable reason to take it down. However, this was not what you said at the time. You said my post contained lies and inaccuracies. That was your reason to delete the post. This is unaccaptable.

Third: I asked you to delete all my other posts on that article. You didn’t do this. Either you delete them all or you delete none of them. Deleting some unfair to me and to my argument.

Almaviva – How do I know the person asking to take it down is the same Almaviva – as long as you are anonymous I can’t be sure. The PRIMARY reason I took down your one comment was, it wasn’t a comment, it was a thesis. I did the same with JTk.

I have the right to take down what I want and not take down what I don’t. On the other hand you could set up a triond account and post your ideas as I have also suggested to JTk. I am not in any way limiting your free speech. Admittedly I am not providing you a soap box. Check out my article on the serious limitations on few speech that B Hussein Obama wants to implement. Liberals like filthy speech, irresponsible speech but blanch on free speech for anyone who does not connect to the liberal collective. Basically liberals like Obama, Pelosi and Dirty Harry don’t understand the constitution.

Almaviva – I removed your long post, it is gone, it isn’t coming back, it is my site, I have the right to allow what I allow. I will reiterate, I believe in free speech. I don;t think I have the responsibility to build your soap box and I will remove any future comments that either dispute that, are long or are off subject, MY OPINION RULES.

If you were to use your real name, that would automatically move you from the anonymous and irresponsible group and I will allow more.

I keep telling you and JTk, Set up a triond account with legitimate name and address. I want to be able to find you in a phone book, not because I ever want to talk to you, I don’t have that desire with either of you, but I want you to post knowing that if someone knows you and sees it they will know…. It is called accountability.

When you post comments use the triond account so we know who it is. I will allow far more of someone responsible than someone irrespoisible…
