Palin and Dirty Politics

More scandal that is absurd.

Everybody knows about Sarah Palin. Her acceptance to run with McCain had put her face on the political front. Before that acceptance she was a well liked Governor of Alaska. No one outside of Alaska knew of her or even knew who the governor before her was. In fact, no one really pays too much attention to Alaska. That changed when Palin ran with McCain. They had lost to Obama and Biden. Now she returns to her job as Governor, but only to have snipers at her door step. Allegations of her suppose violation of ethics law runs amuck in the news. Also, there has been criticism about Palin’s 18 year old daughter.

What had happen? From a unknown governor that no political party thought much about, to scandal and heavy criticism. Simply put this is dirty politics. Many had seen it before. Those that run for political office slander and put down their opponents and vice versa. Many ads of how incompentent the opponent is or how horribe the opponent would be in office can be seen by millions. Before you voted for the best candidate. Now people say in the voting lines, “which candidate is the lesser evil? I will vote for that candidate.” Dirty politics is the thing to get you into office or to prevent someone for gaining a position.

Palin was not thought about before she accepted her bid to run for Vice-President. Now she is a target. No one cannot escape her name being put in print followed by good or horrible news. These days mostly horrible. I got turn off from politics because of this kind of method of gaining a position. I appreciate Obama for trying to unite the political parties. It won’t happen because of the long history of put downs. I don’ trust Democrates or Republicans these days. If something negative comes on the news, I must do further research. Most often it is nothing. The newest Palin ethics scandal is really nothing. If a person truely looked at it closely, they will find it is just a simple attack to descredit her. Palin would never be involved in these accusations if she did not have accepted the bid to be the running mate of McCain.

I wish people would not quickly believe the media. I wish people would do further research on accusations. I wish people would just get angry at the slanderous attacks that politicians wield frequently.
