To succeed in the political arena charisma and knowledge can get you a long way. You might even carve yourself out a long distinguished career. Although it is debatable whether any career in politics is distinguished to begin with. There may be a more simple solution to winning that seat, gaining that vote or becoming the people’s choice and here is where the fashion industry and politics crash into each other head on. The fashion industry has dictated or lulled us into believing that it is most desirable to the human race for men and women to be attractive looking, that you are one of the beautiful people. People will like you for this and people will remember you and respond to you. Unfortunately for many of us not blessed by the perfect genes this mantra rings a shallow truth. Many of the stars of today are very easy on the eye and we adore them for it. Well in politics due to the lack of apathy from many voters in national and local elections if you were the best looking candidate that would be the basis of your campaign. “Vote for me I’m Hot” and you know what if you were you might even win. People would look at your billboards, discuss you and even think about you(you know what i mean!) but most importantly remember you. People might be interested in voting again.

It is true your next ideal candidate in an election could be extremely ideal in every way, shape or form. It’s a marketer’s dream. So, if you are a bit of a stunner perhaps it’s time you started looking into this as a career.
