Rand Paul for KY Senate

The libertarian Rand Paul is running for Jim Bunning’s Senate seat if Bunning retires.

Congressman Ron Paul’s son Rand Paul is considering a run for Kentucky Senator Jim Bunning’s seat in 2010. Let’s show our support for a man who will actually uphold the Constitution, fight the Federal Reserve Bank and apply REAL free market principals to economic policy.

Rand Paul is running as a republican but I urge my fellow liberals to put partisan beliefs aside and help elect a true man of the people. The GOP is a mess and the only way they have a chance of rebuilding is through the wing of the libertarian movement. I don’t know anyone who wants a one party system in this country since two isn’t enough in the first place. I for one also do not want to see the republican party continue down this narrow path of self destruction.

Rand will help to implement true conservatism and free market principals to Washington. He will fight the private Federal Reserve Bank that has destroyed the integrity of the democracy in the election process, undermined the rule of law, and the Constitution since 1913. He will move to cut significant amounts of spending that we do not need and sometimes harmful to the integrity of the free market. He is a non interventionist, and will fight to bring and keep our troops home which will help to restore pro American sentiment around the world making us safer. He will work to repeal the Patriot Act and restore our civil liberties because he understands that we do not need to give up our freedoms to protect our freedoms. “Those who would give up an essential liberty for temporary security, deserve neither liberty or security.” Ben Franklin

Lets show Rand Paul that we want him to run here in Kentucky regardless of Jim Bunning’s decision to retire by joining this group:
