Rebel Congress Mp Jagan TOO Will Declare HIS Assets, Says Pilli
CONGRESS REBEL MP YS JAGANMOHAN REDDT WHO DEFIED THE AUTHORITY OF THE PARTY CHIEF SONIA GANDHI IS NOW BEING TROUBLED BY INVESTIGATING AGENCIES OF INDIA FOR HIS “ILLEGITIMATE ASSETS.” HE NOW SAYS HE WOULD DECLARE HIS ASSETS VOLUNTARILY.
Hyderabad, Sept. 4 (NSS): The YSR Congress Party president and Kadapa MP, Mr Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, would also declare his assets soon, the Jagan loyalist and former minister, Mr Pilli Subhashchandra Bose, has said.
Speaking to mediapersons here after meeting Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy on Sunday, Mr Pilli alleged that the former chief minister and Telugu Desam party president, Mr N. Chandrababu Naidu, had declared his assets with concocted accounts. He said that none of the 29 Congress legislators, who had resigned in support of Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy would not go back on their resignations.
Mr Bose said that Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy would go to Delhi on Monday and would call on leaders of all the national Opposition parties barring the BJP. He also disclosed that the pro-Jagan legislators would meet the Governor, Mr E S L Narasimhan, in the morning on Monday and meet the Assembly Speaker, Mr Nadendla Manohar, in the evening to press him to accept their resignations.
Earlier, some of the Congress MLAs, who have resigned in support of Mr Jagan conferred with him. Those who met Mr Jagan included Mr Nallimilli Sesha Reddy, Mr Babu Rao, Mr Putalapattu Ravi, Mr Amarnath Reddy, Ms Kunja Satyavathi, Ms Korla Bharati, Mr Chennakesava Reddy, Mr Mekapati Chandrasekhara Reddy, Mr Srikant Reddy, Mr Adinarayana Reddy, Mr Pilli Subhashchandra Bose, Mr Bala Raju, Mr Prasada Raju, Ms Sucharita, Mr Siva Prasada Reddy, Ms Sobha Nagi Reddy, Mr Dwarampudi Chandrasekhara Reddy, Mr Katasani Rambhupal Reddy and Mr Dharmana Krishna Das. The MP, Mr Mekapati Rajamohan Reddy, who also resigned was among those who met Mr Jagan.
Speaking to mediapersons before meeting Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy, Mr Amarnatha Reddy said that none of them would take back their resignations. He said they would get their resignations accepted by the Speaker. He also maintained that they had resigned without the knowledge of Mr Jagan.
Ms Shobha Nagireddy said that the PCC president, Mr Botcha Satyanarayana, should accept their resignations from the primary membership of the Congress party if he has any shame and self-respect. When they have accepted the resignation of the Pulivendula MLA, Ms Vijayalakshmi, immediately, whey don’t they do the same now?, she asked.
It is learnt that the MLAs met Mr Jagan to reassure him that none of them would retrace their step. They said to have discussed about ways to get their resignations accepted. Out of 29 legislators, who pledged their support to the YSR Congress Party president, 22 of them turned up to meet Mr Jagan on Sunday. Surprisingly, seven of his strong supporters were conspicuously absent. They are: Parakala MLA, Ms Konda Surekha, former minister, Mr Balineni Srinivas Reddy, the Secunderabad MLA, Ms Jayasudha, Mr Kapu Ramachandra Reddy, Mr Gurunatha Reddy, the TDP’s Mr Balanagi Reddy and Mr Nallapureddy Prasanna Kumar Reddy.
According to the information, Ms Jayasudha could not attend the meeting as she was busy in Chennai in connection a film shooting. Ms Surekha reportedly conveyed information on telephone that she was not able to attend the meeting. While Mr Kapu Ramachandra Reddy was in Bengaluru to attend to his personal pressing problems, Mr Gurunatha Reddy could not turn up due to indisposition. The TDP defector duo never attended Mr Jagan’s meetings and therefore they did not attend.
