Sixteen states have recently voted to disband the Union and replace it with a more direct democracy type of government. But for this to happen three fourths of all the states have to vote against our federal government. And members of congress, the very thing we are trying to destroy, have to vote themselves out of power. Or a more plausible situation to change our type of government from a false democracy (its more of a republic), to a direct democracy. And the reason for us not even needing a federal government, much less a congress is simple. In the seventeen hundreds when we first established the U.S. Congress, there were no means of short hand communication. There was no Internet or phones. We were just figuring out how the telegraph. So there was no trust worthy way of getting information to the white house. So the founding fathers set up a system called the United States Congress. Where the states sent their own elected officials to congress to vote on laws and discuss the issues of our country. Now a direct democracy is what the intention of our countries government was originally. Its where we have meetings like congress does except for the people of this country, elected or not could vote on laws and other matters, and give them a chance to speak out loud with our government on matters they find unjust or that contradicts our constitution. And that in a direct democracy there’s very little federal interference and its the states that run the show.
