Rush Limbaugh is Fat Again
Every time you turn on the news or the radio or read a paper, all we hear about lately is what Rush Limbaugh said or what was said about Rush Limbaugh. Personally, I’m beyond tired of it.
The prerequisite to understanding why I’ve written this is to have encountered some of Rush Limbaugh’s inclinations and to have realized how caustic they are. I have very little doubt that the vast majority of the this country has done just that, especially in light of the last few weeks.

In the first place, Limbaugh seems to believe that no one is smart enough to see through his transparent lies. This is noxious falsehood. The truth is that he says that his expositions enhance American standards, productivity, and competitiveness. That’s a stupid thing to say. It’s like saying that it’s okay to leave helpless children alone to play in the streets. His agenda and destructive purposes are ultimately just as dangerous. I do not find solutions that are ophidian, insipid, and contemptuous to be “patriotic”. Maybe I lack a sense of humor but maybe if Bulverism were an Olympic sport, he would clinch the gold medal.
All of the bad things that are currently going on in politics are a symptom of Limbaugh’s type of deplorable propaganda. They are not a cause; they are an effect. The greatest quote I ever heard goes something like this: “I cannot simply sit idly by while the worst types of bitter cockalorums there are treat civility and common sense as if they were vindictive crimes.” I guess what I really mean to say is that someone has been giving Limbaugh’s brain a very thorough washing and now Limbaugh is trying to do the same to us. Although he demonstrates a great deal of ignorance and presumption when he says that doing the ideologically fashionable thing is more important than life or liberty, the fact remains that I welcome his comments. If for no other reason just to expose his shallow thinking. However, he needs to realize that some people have said that his ability to present a false image to the world by hiding unpleasant but vitally important realities about his crotchets is astounding. Maybe. But I’m more inclined to believe that an understanding of the damage that may be caused by Limbaugh’s scabrous smear tactics isn’t something I expect everyone to develop the first time they hear about it. That’s why I write over and over again and from so many different angles about how there is unmistakably a disorganized dimension to Limbaugh’s actions. Or, if “disorganized” is too narrow of a term, perhaps you’d prefer “adversarial”. In any case, if Fate desired that Limbaugh make a correct application of what he had read about isolationism it would have to indicate title and page number since the ultra-conceited hostis generis humani would otherwise never in all his life find the correct place. But since Fate does not do this, Limbaugh’s favorite tactic is known as “deceiving with the truth”. The idea behind this tactic is that he wins our trust by revealing some of the truth but leaving some of it out. This makes us less likely to halt the destructive process that is carrying our civilization toward extinction.
Limbaugh’s perspective is that everything is happy, fine, and good when Republicans are in power and the opposite when Democrats are. Limbaugh has lost contact with reality. Now, I could go off on that point alone, but I cannot believe how many actual, physical, breathing, thinking people have fallen for his subterfuge. I’m totally stunned. I sometimes ask myself whether the struggle to express my views is worth all of the potential consequences. And I consistently answer by saying that we can’t stop Limbaugh overnight. It takes time, patience and experience to help people break free of Limbaugh’s cycle of oppression.
If we don’t, Limbaugh’s announcements will soon start to metastasize until they stifle the voices of those who are simply seeking to be heard. Limbaugh and I disagree about our basic civic duties. I believe that we must do our utmost to eliminate the mind-control energies that are being radiated from his radio studio. Limbaugh, on the other hand, believes that those who disagree with him should be cast into the outer darkness, should be shunned, should starve. I have always been an independent thinker. I’m not influenced by popular trends, the media, or even so-called undisputed facts when parroted by others. Maybe that streak of independence is what first enabled me to see that in essence, Limbaugh has stated that our elected officials should be available for purchase by special-interest groups. Since the arguments he makes are based in part on that assumption, he should be aware that it just isn’t true. Not only that, but when a friend wants to drive inebriated, you try to stop him. Well, Limbaugh is drunk with power, which is why we must push a consistent vision that responds to most people’s growing fears about jackbooted voluptuaries. Now that I’ve told you what I think, let me end this letter by stating that I fully intend to look into the future and consider what will happen if we let Rush Limbaugh kill the messenger and control the message. Let Limbaugh tremble. And though the heavens fall, let there be justice.

Apparently, every newscaster and political figure in the country, if you go by the past few weeks’ coverage.

Yes, honestly who cares?
I’m sure he will soon make himself irrelevant. If the GOP wants to take a new direction, they are going to have to leave divisive people like him behind.
He probably cannot co-exist with a republican party headed by a black Michael Steele, a female Sarah Palin or an Indian-American Bobby Jindal- judging by some of the things he’s said.

It’s amazing that the political leaders of America spend their time demonizing a private citizen. The democrats must really fear the man.

Limbaugh isn’t drunk with power: more like oxycontin. When you heard him before it was the drugs talking, now it’s the voice of a former drug-addict. Limbaugh is simply a court-jester: i.e. short, fat uneducated comic who flatters the self-proclaimed ruling elite into thinking that they are the rightful masters of the universe while mocking and ridiculing those whom he feels safe in doing so… and gets whipped when he accidentally insults someone with the power to hurt him back.

in principle, i agree with the comments… who cares about limbaugh? but real life and principle dont often coincide, and limbaugh has the ear of a significant portion of our nation. which makes him all the more frightening.
