Vnesheconombank negotiated a credit in the amount of $ 100 million with Indian Export Import Bank.
Within the official visit of the Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to Russia,
Vnesheconombank and Export Import Bank of India made a frame credit agreement in the amount of $ 100 million, reported the representatives of Vnesheconombank.
From the side of Vnesheconombank the document was signed by the chairman Vladimir Dmitriev, and from the side of Export Import Bank of India the chairman and manager Ravneet Kaur. The credit means will be used to finance the supplies of the equipment and service of the Indian companies within the investment projects, which are realized at the territory of Russia.
Russia and India are going to strengthen the formats of cooperation within BRIC, said President of Russia Federation Dmitry Medvedev at the press-conference according to the results of the negotiations with Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Monday.
“Yesterday when we compare our ideas about this issue with Mr. Singh, we decided that it is necessary to advance the formats of cooperation within BRIC, to achieve concrete results so that our meetings will be not just a discussion of the world news or the consequences of the world crises but they will also create an opportunity to help our countries”.-said Mr. Medvedev.
