Security Forces Thailand Military Coup Could Only Say Do.
Thai army chief , Prayuth Chan – ocha , Friday ( 27/12/2013 ), said a military coup could happen and it depends on the situation .
According to him , the door is not closed or an open coup , but the decision will depend on the situation , Prayuth said as quoted by the Bangkok Post .
Prayuth insists military neutrality , and urged the opposing parties to end the violence .
Anti-government protesters clashed with police on Thursday when they tried to storm into Bangkok stadium where the candidates of political parties for the elections draw numbers elections Feb. 2 .
Two people were killed and 153 others injured in the clash. On Friday , the last day of registration of party ticket , no protesters outside the stadium to block the procedure . A total of 45 parties so far have delivered their list .
General Election Commission ( EC ) on Thursday advised the government to postpone the election until all parties work to resolve their differences .
Democrat Party leader Abhisit Vejjajiva has voiced support for the proposal that the Election Commission .
