Six Reasons Why It Would Have Been Scary to Have Sarah Palin as VP
Have you ever stopped to think: Why all the talk about Palin?
- She believes that humans should deplete the Earth’s natural resources (ex. “Drill Baby Drill”) to an extreme extent, because it is “God’s will”.
- In an interview in late 2008, she seemed to believe that the Vice President, virtually the job she was applying for, “Ran the Senate”. Obviously this is very untrue, and I find it disturbing that someone like that could be so close the the highest position of power in the United States.
- She claimed to have leadership experience, with reference to her Governorship of Alaska, and her past position as mayor of a small town: Wasilla, Alaska, yet she ended up funding the famous road to nowhere, wasting valuable resources in the process.
- She claimed that she had experience with foreign policy, because “there is a part of Alaska from which you can see Russia”, yet it was not until after she became John McCain’s running mate that she even got a passport.
- She claimed that she was prepared for the position and could handle difficult situations, while in her own home, she had a teenage pregnant daughter. This wouldn’t have been that detrimental to her reputation either…, had she not been preaching abstinence due to her “values”.
- Considering John McCain’s age, relatively speaking, he would have been more likely that other presidents to pass away while in office, which would have given Sarah Palin the most important job in the nation.
Scary right? Feel free to disagree, just let me know what you think…
