Standing by What We Actual Beleive in

Discussing the reality of democracy.

It has come to my attention that a damning situation has been placed before the world in the form of general opinion. I do not condone extremist action and the harrowing effects its ideology can have on the world but what I do detest more than anything else is the silencing of the minority. If we do not allow people regardless of there views a chance to voice there opinion then are we not to an extent as bigoted as the worst tyrants.

If we are to be a fair society that allows intellectual debate to take place we must accept the views of that which the majority may dislike it is after all up to the people of great Britain to decide the coarse of actions regarding our free speaking country and if every time someone controversial does voice there opinion and those in position decide to force parameters upon there voice then I do believe that to be an insult upon the ears of the fine and intelligent people of our island.

When Galileo said his fine and noble things against popular belief those against freedom that damned him for blasphemy were wrong. despite the occasional ridiculous spouts of verbal lard, it is after all the fact that the truth and the lies should be given a chance and good will always prevail through debate. it is only where education is stifled that we find ourselves in silly and dangerous situations. So let those who have an opinion speak and have faith in the people to cope with it properly, after all it is the people that elect and the people who should have the final say.If history has taught us something it is never to underestimate the power and minds of the people and the power of debate.
