The GOP Presidential Primary Race is Off and Running…almost
An updated analysis of the current standing of GOP presidential hopefuls.
The latest brouhaha on the lineup of GOP hopefuls for the presidency shows much changing of minds. As things now go, chances are the Iowa Caucus and the New Hampshire primary will separate the men from the boys and the women from the girls. I expect to see perhaps at least half of the contestants drop out of the race. Very possibly as few as 3 or 4 will remain viable.
A few weeks ago, Mitt Romney had developed what might be considered a comfortable lead, however if it were not for the blinds on either side of his eyes, he would see that neat little filly has pulled up neck to neck with him. The lead he had, if still at all in existence, is by no means comfortable at this stage. In fact, one source says he is giving off nervous signals.
Michelle Bachmann has surprised most of the public, possibly including herself and certainly the liberal Democrats. But the liberals have their quivers full, mostly to be used on Sarah Palin if she had entered the race, or perhaps still does. Michelle, however, has definitely solid qualifications. She even pleases the majority of the Tea Party and is an excellent choice for the GOP, other than the liberal leaning segment of them.
She is staunch, she is not a flip-flopper, an outstanding trait which Romney cannot touch with a long bamboo cane. He has more flips and flops than the self proclaimed Viet Nam hero, John Kerry. She has all the true American ideals and principles. Plus, she is a woman and the poor Democrats did want to be the first one to put a woman on board. They took anything they could get to try and put a black into the presidency first. They failed, but at least they got one with enough black blood to be referred to as a black. Enough black that they could accuse every derogatory word against him as being racist.
We have a good man running this time who is full blooded black American. I would dearly love to see him in first place, but unfortunately he is falling behind at this point. I do hope he will continue to press forward and stay in the race, perhaps with enough backers to earn him a vice presidency bid. Then all the accusations of racism, could be bounced off the left for they would assuredly criticize him. Herman Cain is still running stronger than several of the other candidates. He refers to himself as an ABC…American Black Candidate.
