The New Health Care Program Will Hurt The Elderly and Sick

The new health care will repeal the Medicare program that we now have. The elderly will suffer the most. It will reduce the medical services that the elderly use. The elderly will no longer get their every medical need. They will no longer get every medication prescribed to them. They will no longer get everything they need to maintain their quality of life.

The elderly do not seem to understand what the health care program is going to do to their medical needs. The Medicare program will be replaced with a government managed care and rationing program for elderly health care.

The health care providers figure they will save $1.7 trillion dollars in the next decade in health care spending. These drug companies, hospitals, insurance companies, medical service manufacturers, labor unions and doctors are not thinking to well. If you cut out all of these medical procedures and treatment how will they make money? The only ones that will make money will be the insurance companies. They will be collecting premiums and not paying out for medical services. That’s a real sweet deal for the insurance companies.

Canada has a similar health care program and the limited use of colonoscopies have increased the cases of colon cancer by 25 percent in Canada. This new U.S. plan will also limit the use of colonoscopies. This will result in an increase of colon cancer. Diagnostic imaging tests like MRI’s and CAT scans will be limited. The people’s access to antibiotics will be reduced. Caesarean sections will be limited. If a mother to be is having problems and needs a caesarean section someone setting behind a desk somewhere will decide if she gets it or if she is just let to die and her baby along with her.

The care for management of chronic back pain will be limited. The list goes on and on. The decisions made will not be medical but financial. The decision for treatment will not be based on a doctor’s opinion or a patients needs. It will be based on what someone thinks the new health care system can afford. There will be people in charge that will decide who gets treated and who does not. In other words they will decide who lives and who dies. It will all be about money. The American people will now have the politicians and insurance companies deciding how long they get to live. Everyone will be required to have health insurance. Why should you as it will not do you any good if you get sick or injured or get cancer? You will not be treated.
