The Republicans Have Found Their Man
The Republican Party was looking for a guy who would stay out of scandalous affairs and would not embarrass the Party. They believe they have accomplished their goal.
Strange as it may seem, it looks like the republicans have found their man. They peeled McCain and Palin off like a worn out shuck when Obama won the White House. And the search is on. The Republicans are hoping for a good down home man who wont fly off to a foreign country to tryst with his mistress when he was supposed to be taking care of business as the governor of South Carolina, or someone who isn’t having an affair with his campaign manager while serving in the Senate. It takes some searching to find a man like that but they believe they have accomplished their goal.
Their candidate wont get to the White House any time soon but he is young enough to be groomed and prepared for the big moment. He is not likely to show up the party with any scandalous escapades or get too big for his britches. They aim to take care of this boy and keep him in a straight line.
This young man they hang their hopes on is 14 year old Jonathan Krohn of Duluth. Jonathan is a talk show host, an author, and former actor. He appeared at an anti tax rally in Swanee, and spoke at a meeting of Gwinnet’s Conservative Republican Women. This youngster has his fans and groupies as all celebrities do. Most of them are motherly or grandmotherly now, but as he grows in age and political experiences, it’s thought he will get their votes and the younger crowds.
This kid is causing a lot of excitement in the Republican party and they are watching him carefully. Jonathan gave a talk to the Conservative Political Action Conference in February and they were impressed by his knowledge. He is more or less echoing voices from the past at this time, but watch this boy, his mind is ticking, changing everything to black and white as any child does, and who knows what will happen in the future?

Well, sounds promising but what could a man do? With such a tender, young age and those teen admirers out there I doubt. Unless of course he attends to his personal necessities incognito. You’re more like a one woman paparazzi Ruby, I admire your patience for giving us a hint of the political atmosphere out there. Best regards.

Let’s see if he is still a conservative after he goes to college….
Isn’t there a saying that goes something like: if you’re under 40 and not a liberal you have no heart and if you’re over 40 and not a conservative you have no brains?

Inna

Not acquainted with this youngster. I’ll be watching. The GOP sure needs some new blood. Thanks for the heads up.

Thanks,

Very funny, thank you dear Ruby for sharing this,

They sure start early. Bet the Republican party bosses now regret vetoing stem cell research. They would need a cloned politician, who has the folksy charm of Reagan, war hero charisma of Eisenhower, wisdom and honesty of Abe and optimism of Teddy Roosevelt with no traces of Bushes, Nixon or a Palindrome.

A picture would be great for your overseas admirers. I hope that they choose someone worthy simply not another Chimera like Bushy. j

Hi, Ruby,
I am very worried about the state of the Republican party if we are going to stake our hopes on a 14 year-old boy! But, Octavian was just a few years older when he assumed power in ancient Rome…Let’s just hope the Demokrats don’t totally destroy our country by then.

I’m completely unaware of this new and bright hopeful future candidate, your very humorous as Newt can’t seem to find the reigns to rope in the party, neither can others, so they now exploit a child to further thier mis-adventures of republican rhetoric, wow, that’s desperate, No disrespect intended, but I found this piece to be satire, or the content anyway, great read and you seem to articulate the problems of the Elephants quite well, hope this comment does not offend you, great work.

I am really at a loss for words, you sound serious, yet, a 14 yr old boy is their only hope? Wow, glad I am a democrat!

maybe he can actually turn this country around… seems to me there has been no good canidates since Reagen, maybe he’ll be the first good one
But i don’t think the Republicans have dropped Palin just yet… they still need somone to run in 2012

Let’s see if he can prove to do something. I don’t think Republicant will “throw away” Palin. She’s quite influential, isn’t she? Have my liked it.

I find it extremely curious that someone would compare this kid to Octavian, and seemingly in a complimentary way… what’s next? Favorable comparisons to Caligula?
Luckily in this country you can’t be President until you are 35, so this kid has some time to mature and figure things out before he has a shot at taking over the country.

It is rather interesting they are putting thier hopes on a teenager who hasn’t even experienced life yet.Your articles always deal with interesting content that makes people think and forces issues out in the open.Excellent article Ruby but I expect no less of you.

Interesting article and bit of information, Ruby. I believe that I have heard mention of this young man in the past and on one of the national televised news programs. Don’t personally know enough about him to weigh in a thoughtful opinion, but in time this will change.
What many Americans do not realize, is that, many of our early Statesmen and Founding Fathers were and did start serving at very early ages and much younger than those that we are familiar with today in our modern-time political arena. Taking a trip to the public library and checking out early history books that were once an important part of early education in the US, will shade the light on the great and educated men that were charged with establishing the United States. A fantastic website to discover the almost forgotten past of the US is http://www.wallbuilders.com .
Most of the Statesmen and Stateswomen that the US has elected and appointed to higher office today, are much less experienced in both commonsense, life and education than those great men whom were their forerunners. The one most important thing that our modern politicians are missing that our Founding Fathers held most near and dear to their hearts and lives and this country “The United States” is a firm belief and fear of God “Jesus Christ”.
Anyone person that honestly believes with all of their heart and soul, that they or science holds all of the answers to life, happiness and freedom is doomed to fail from the beginning. Man can do nothing all by themselves. Without the light and guidance of God “Jesus Christ” lighting the way — man who is blind and walking in darkness will always fail to solve any problems and will always make a bigger mess of things. Jesus Christ is the “Restorer” and the “Life-giver” and no man rises or falls from power without the Lord first making the appointments from Heaven above. And, if any man or women doesn’t fear God “Jesus Christ”, then the Word of God teaches that they are “Fools”, “Lost” and “Blind”.
God Bless,
Nelson Doyle

The kid is raising a fuss. But youth tends to excite the nation. I know that the political system is so broken that no one can fix it. Dems vs Repubs. Shouldn’t it be best man for the job rather than how good you are at talking and fund raising? That is how you get the job these days. Promise things that don’t happen, place laws in effect that support your doners, cut funds in places to make room for your own agenda. What we need is a leader who doesn’t do politics, just the damn job.

This 14 year old has only a bit less experience than our current president.
And at 14 he’s probably still honest enough to say what he believes, rather than what he believes people want him to say.
Nice article, Ruby! Thanks for heightening our awareness!
