The Ultimate Comeback Kid!

                Everyone likes to hear about a comeback story. We get fascinated how one person can overcome impossible odds and rise up to be victorious in life. Recently, in the Republican primaries, Newt Gingrich has come back to pose a serious threat to Mitt Romney’s aspirations for the Presidency. Having been behind in the polls, Gingrich has mounted a incredible base that has propelled him to the front lead which has been impressive. So, whether you love him or not, Newt has come back to make this an interesting race. In the sports world, there is a great story that comes to my mind. Floyd Patterson had losted his heavyweight crown to Ingemar Johansson in an humillating TKO in the third round. Johansson, who was known for his vicious right, became the world’s champion in 1959. Many thought Floyd Patterson was washed up, but a year later, he met his opponent in a rematch. After a tough fight, Patterson knocked out Johansson to make Boxing history as the first Heavyweight to win his title in a rematch.

                     Our Lord Jesus is the utimate comeback kid. He never saw obstacles as a negative, but as a stepping stone to success. He, repeatedly, told his disciples that he was going to die but rise again in the third day. Apparently, the disciples were not good listeners because before Jesus rose from the dead, they were afraid for their lives and were hiding from men. The Lord Jesus, who after being in hell, three days and three nights, stripped the demonic powers and made a show of them openly! HE ROSE AGAIN!! He defeated Satan and death and is now seated at the right hand of the Father. That, my friends, is the ulitmate comeback.

                   Jesus wants to give you a comeback in life. Perhaps, you are going through financial challenges?Maybe the doctors have given you a negative report regarding your health?
