Time to Wipe Out Corruption: Let Our Votes Say It All

Well it looks as though the People’s voices will have to go down to voting now. As the Speaker of the House of Commons Micheal Martin has refused to step down and admit his guilt as well as the rest of Ministers of Parliament involved.
Hopefully it will not stop here with investigations into MEPs and Lords to even Royalty.

With the corruption in our Parliament reaching its peak as did the Banking collapse. It appears the message has still reached deaf ears in Parliament with those responsible for letting expenses claims get out of order at the expense of the Tax payer- the general public.

From the speaker Micheal Martin to Gordon Brown who will in no doubt become lord himself when he and his party are kicked out of office and members of the opposition parties. This would only leave a few who would deserve to sit in Parliament and represent us the public and constituencies. However I am sure they would not expect extra payments for questions and answers because they are getting paid for this service in the first place.

The Expenses system has been a scam for years and it is only because they have been found out, that The Speaker and Prime Minister have decided to change the rules, apologising on behalf of everyone guilty except a personal one themselves. It is here where the buck should stop and Parliament should be resolved with an independent Jury or body setting the rules. That means that there should be no contact between this body with any member of Parliament.

Once all this has been resolved, I hope that an investigation into other public sectors should be disclosed including MEP Expenses, Members of the House of Lords and even Royals should be accountable for their wages and expenses.

It is time for Britain to clean up and prosecute all who have been guilty of these scandals and face the consequences as all the public would.
