Why I Don’t Get Offended
People tell me to not get offended. Here is my pledge avoid it. But I respond to them, "Now don’t you go and get offended. Hear me?"
You use my tax money to put a cross in urine, call it art and expect me to not be offended.
You put a knife to a man’s throat and tell him to confess Allah or die and you expect me to not be offended.
You mutilate your little girls and expect me to not be offended.
You rip Christ out of Christmas and expect me to not be offended.
You take the basic law of Judeo-Christian belief, make posting it illegal and expect me to not be offended.
You kill over a million babies a year and expect me to not be offended.
You present sexual activity in public and expect me to not be offended.
You pass laws that require me to subsidize activities that are wrong like abortion and promiscuity and you expect me to not be offended.
You pass laws that will force doctors and nurses who oppose abortion to perform and assist in those operations and you expect me to not be offended.
You bash a president with lies and expect me to not be offended.
You make up stories about a public figure and present them as truth and expect me to not be offended.
When you are here you tell me how great I am and when you get to California you call me a bitter Pennsylvanian who clings to my Bible and gun and expect me to not be offended.
You call being pregnant and having a baby punishment and expect me to not be offended.
You try to pass laws that will use my tax money to abort babies – which I equate to murder – and you expect me to not be offended.
You claim to be a citizen and tell me that you will not wear the flag of our country or salute that flag and you expect me to not be offended.
You run for the presidency after you sit in a church for twenty years and listen to a pastor whose rabid sermons preach hatred and you expect me to not be offended.
You complain if children in school want to have a club to study the Bible and pray while clubs with questionable goals exist and you expect me to not be offended.
You protest if there is a prayer at a public event and you expect me to not be offended.
So I now ask, no, I demand this.
I will pray with the name of Jesus in public and when I please and I expect you to not be offended.
I will say “Merry Christmas” to you and I will expect you to not be offended.
I will sing, “Jesus Loves Me” or any such song where I wish and I will expect you to not be offended.
I will call abortion murder publicly and I expect you to not be offended.
I will call immoral sexual activity just that in any setting and I will expect you to not be offended.
You will call me narrow minded. I like that. Sure I am narrow-minded. It is called staying on the straight and narrow not the broad road to destruction. I don’t want to be open minded like you claim to be but are not. People who are open minded let their brains run out. In addition, they are open minded to the things they accept but let someone fall outside that narrow realm and they are maligned and treated like crap. Just look at how the “open minded” dealt with Sarah Palin and Geroge W Bush. But let me just say this, no, I will say this and you will not be offended. Jesus is my Lord. God is real. I love America – my land. If you don’t, consider getting out. Merry Christmas, Happy Easter. Abortion is murder. Socialism is wrong. Racism is wrong no matter who practices it. Obama should be impeached for bowing to other heads of state. Sex outside marriage is wrong. The Ten Commandments have not been repealed.
Now don’t you go and get offended. Hear me?

Good article, there are so many things to be offended about, and the list goes on and on, this is the world that we live in, sad isn’t it.
