Why We Don’t Want Constituent Assembly?

They would like to change the present system to parliamentary system. Mrs. Arroyo making so many visits to Pampanga and someone says she would step down and run for congress. One thing is for sure, on my opinion it is simple that she would like to stay in power. Making it parliamentary would make congress more powerful. That gives her the chance of staying in power.

She may not become the Prime Minister when she is in the congress but really what the chances are. Looking at our beloved congress wasting money and time dealing with Con-Ass, choosing to spend time on how they can be in power than really using precious time and money for the people. They say our current system is not working, having the president on top as the head of the state only works in the U.S. but really it is not the system that is not working. The people that make up the system pollute the system. Knowing the system actually work with other country that means there is nothing wrong with it.

Coming 2010 election time is up. We the people of the Philippines has the power to make things right. We don’t need to vote for the people that only work for their own benefit. They say they do things for the people, but why not put there time and effort to help the people? Rather they waste time for a Constituent Assembly that will only benefit the few.  

One more thing they would like foreigners to be able to own land in our country. Sometimes I really wonder of such decisions, why do we sell our land to foreigners and make them the owners of our native land. Maybe the richest man in the world can own the entire Philippines one day or something. So really it is not the system that needs to be change. It’s the people running it, the people that are drunk with power, people who cares not for the people they serve but their selves alone.

I may miss many things here but hope you guys give comments and say what you want to say.
